
Quish’s SuperValu Tramore wins Supreme Quality Award

Quish’s Supervalu Tramore has been awarded a ‘Supreme Quality Award’ by Excellence Ireland Hygiene and Food Safety at the annual awards ceremony held last week.
From the 180 SuperValu stores throughout the country, 61 received the SuperValu Supreme Quality Award, based on the accumulated total of Excellence Ireland audit scores received over the past three years; the ‘Supreme’ award is the highest accolade in the Awards scheme.
“We are delighted to receive this award as food hygiene and quality are uppermost on our list of priorities and we are pleased that this work has been recognised at a national level,” said Quish’s Store Manager, Niall Shanaghy.
The awards were presented by Donal Horgan, Managing Director of SuperValu at a function attend SuperValu retailers from all over Ireland.
“SuperValu is committed to meeting and exceeding the highest standards of food safety and quality,” said SuperValu MD Donal Horgan.
“Being awarded the EIQA Hygiene and Food Safety Certificate doesn’t simply mean that we keep our shops floors clean, this hygiene quality ethos is embedded in our DNA and is maintained throughout the food chain, from production right through to sales.”
