EIQA Awards

EIQA's National Quality and Excellence awards are one of the most eagerly awaited events in the corporate calendar. The EIQA awards celebrate the drive, commitment and achievements of all nominated companies, committed to quality in the island of Ireland. Extensive media interest is taken in this award ceremony and a high calibre of guest speakers attend each year. The awards are attended by more than 800 people each year and more than 25 award categories are celebrated on the evening of the gala ceremony.

The Hygiene award categories include awards in the Retail sector, Hospitals and health services, Restaurants, Hotels, Catering, Public services, Leisure centres, Food processors and producers.

The Quality award categories include awards in the financial and insurance services, goverment health and social services, food and beverage processors and producers,  manufacturing, nursing homes,general services and goverment health and social services, also EFQM recognised for excellence and EFQM committed to excellence are also awarded on the night.

The awards ceremony peaks when the special awards for the national team of the year, overall hygiene and food safety winner and Overall national Quality and Excellence winner are announced.

How to enter

All participants of the EIQA programmes are eligible to enter once they have completed their audit in the qualifying 12 month period.The Deadline for having your audit completed and to be eligible for shortlisting for the 2012 National Q Mark Awards is the 31st of March 2012.

Organisations/Companies with the highest scores in each category will be shortlisted and asked to submit an application to be considered. Finalists will be selected following the approvals board and will be judged by our independent national panel of judges.

The 2011 National Q Mark Awards took place on Friday the 14th of October in The Burlington Hotel, Dublin.
